I would NOT tell your girlfriend, because she will KICK your ass up and down the block. So sell your Trans Am, drop the cash and replace the poor fish, and pray for the soul of the idiot who murdered those poor innocent vulnerable fish who were counting on YOU for protection. Breeding fish is not easy and very time consuming with water changes etc. I have several Cichlids that breed and I attempted to raise the young. Well I finally did it successfully after 6 months!
