PBR? Really? If you're going to MASS MURDER a school of fish, at least get some quality poison. Light some candles and send them out with a bang and get a nice bottle of Dom Parignon! I wouldn't feed PBR to my worst human enemies, let alone mass murder fish with it. Sounds very white trash/trailer park to me.

I would NOT tell your girlfriend, because she will KICK your ass up and down the block. So sell your Trans Am, drop the cash and replace the poor fish, and pray for the soul of the idiot who murdered those poor innocent vulnerable fish who were counting on YOU for protection. Actually, pray for your own soul as well, it might as well have been you that did it.

Great answer to an absolute.. Bucko. ;)

And you are dead right. I am sure that they poured alcohol into the aquarium to see if the fish changed behaviour. Mean spirited and ugly.

However, your answer made me laugh. ;)

Somehow I think that all of those fish were different species, or at least most were. I have a feeling that this guy has spilled one too many PBR's on his brain cells where he thinks that getting two $50 fish will breed and create $1750 of fish of different species. LMAO!

Honesty is the best policy. There is no way you will be able to re-create all her fish, and the money you would spend replacing them is a lot. Just tell her -- she may be understanding if you're up front.

Just be honest with her first and then deal with replacing the fish. Breeding fish is not easy and very time consuming with water changes etc. I have several Cichlids that breed and I attempted to raise the young. Well I finally did it successfully after 6 months! Good luck!
