Pig ear recall

As I reported earlier this month, Keys Manufacturing Co. Inc. of Paris, Illinois, recalled its Pig Ears for Pet Treats because the products may have been contaminated with salmonella. In a recent announcement, two additional companies have initiated recalls of pig ear treats.

Boss Pets Products and Blackman industries are recalling three kinds of treats, Diggers Natural Treat Pig Ears, PrimeTime Premium Pig Ears and KC Beefhide Premium Pig Ears, all of which were originally distributed by Keys, which has confirmed that its product was contaminated with salmonella.

If you’ve purchased any of these products, you should return them to the store immediately for a full refund.
