Coalition for the Adoption of Shelter Animals

Help Us Make a Difference in Animals’ Lives

At Pets Adviser, we’re proud of our commitment to helping companion animals in need. That’s why we’re proud members of CASA, the Coalition for the Adoption of Shelter Animals, and it’s why our site features a search engine dedicated solely to finding great adoptable shelter pets for our readers. We’ve covered important animal welfare topics in great detail. We do all of this because we truly want to help make a difference.

You Too Can Help!

This site is run on advertising revenue. We set aside and donate 10 percent or more of our gross advertising revenue created from this website to animal shelters or related causes we believe in. The rest of our earnings are recycled right back into the website to cover our expenses!

Here’s How We Have Helped So Far

Surf dog Ricochet holiday drive 2011 2011: You’d be surprised what a difference a small donation can make to a nonprofit charity. In 2011, we were able to donate $200 for the Surfin’ Santa Paws Howliday Giving Drive from the “SURFice dog” Richochet, the ASPCA’s Dog of the Year. This event was more than a “paw it forward” gift drive for children with illnesses; it was a way for Ricochet to visit elementary schools and teach hundreds of schoolchildren how to treat pets with kindness and respect.

2012: Thanks to your help, Pets Adviser became a sponsor of the Brooklyn Mutt Show in 2012, donating $500 to help defray expenses to run this event, held yearly to raise money for charitable causes. The third-annual Brooklyn Mutt Show raised funds for both the Sean Casey Animal Rescue and the Wild Bird Fund.

We’re very excited to see what the future brings. Do you know of a deserving animal charity you think should be highlighted in Pets Adviser?
