Dog Ruins Love Life – What to Do

Question: Every time I bring a guy home, my dog goes crazy. He barks constantly and scratches at my bedroom door until he forces his way in. How do I keep my dog from getting in the way of my love life?
Dog Ruins Love Life – What to Do?
Answer: When your dog ruins your love life, what you need to do is distract your dog. Keep a stash of his favorite treat on hand. When you bring a guy home, have the guy give your dog one of the treats. Then give him one yourself.
Spend a few minutes with the dog, maybe even take him for a walk together. This will distract him and give him a bit of time to walk off some energy.
If this doesn’t work, try getting a pet bed for your bedroom. That way the dog can sleep on the floor by your bed. With his very own dog bed, he won’t feel left out or overly protective of you.
Worried about what the guy will think? Chances are you’ll never see him again anyway, so who really cares?
Also, it is a little known secret that a man really will go to great lengths to get into the sack. So something that might be a deal-breaker for a woman – like taking care of a neurotic dog – won’t cause a man to give the situation a second thought.

Let’s face it, you have a dog to cuddle 365 nights of the year, how often do you pull a guy. I think that if your dog is in the bedroom with you and a guy that it will leap onto the bed because it will be concerned about your safety. (Have you explained to your dog about what adults do in bed?)
If you can forgo the cuddles and the pleasure of cuddling your dog every night, I think that your dog will find it easier to cope if it has a permanent bed in the kitchen. Unfortunately if your dog has its nose pushed out on the odd night that you pull, it will be confused.
