Poor Mark could only watch in horror as his car rolled downhill. Luckily, Charlie had the wherewithal to jump out the window just before the car careened into a pond with a huge splash. So, in short, can dogs drive a car? Um, no.

Automakers have picked up on the trend, offering things like pet-friendly cargo holds and dog slobber-proof mats like the Solvit 62316 Waterproof SUV Cargo Liner (although Pooch Pads are cheaper, and do a fantastic job).
