A scientific journal reported an apparently prescient cat who worked at a nursing home in Rhode Island.
This feline, Oscar, supposedly predicted the demise of patients and signaled their impending death by planting himself in the beds of those whose time was nearly up.

It sounds ridiculous (and spooky), but Oscar the psychic cat reportedly successfully predicted the deaths of more than 25 patients, and even outwitted the nursing home staff.
This creepy report was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2007.
